The legal aspects of e-business, the protection of personal data on social networks, the security of electronic transactions and other aspects of the Digital Age, which bring legal science in the face of new challenges and new opportunities, were examined more closely.

The Webinar focused on e-commerce marketing and promotional tools such as digital advertising and social media. The terms of search engine optimization, affiliate marketing etc. were explained.
At the same time, the regulatory framework introduced by the General Regulation for Data Protection 2016/679 (GDPR) for the operation of cookies, the sending of newsletters to prospective customers and, in general, the Privacy Policy of online stores were analyzed.

Computer Scientist - Digital Transformation Expert │ B.Sc. Department of Informatics, University of Piraeus, M.Sc. Department of Management Science and Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business.
The Workshop included a round table discussion, with the keynote speaker and moderator Mr. Nikolaos Marangos, in which the results of his research were analyzed, in collaboration with Just in Case.
Following the conclusions of the discussion, a simulation exercise was carried out, in order to inform the consumer public about the cyber fraud practices that have been observed to date in the context of e-commerce.
